I, Vidisha Pandey, born and brought up in Prayagraj- Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh, India), a city well known for its rich art and literature legacy. I hold a diploma in Applied & Fine Art from Allahabad University.
I am an artist & promotes various Indian folk arts on several platforms.
I am a UAE resident for the past 6 years and has conducted several workshops in India and UAE to create awareness about the different folk arts of India. Also taught various art concepts and methods in a way that’s fun engaging and insightful.
I have also taken part in many online events in which showcased the magnificence of Indian folk-art forms.

I have participated in ‘The Art & Craft Exhibition Series’, held as part of ‘India @75 — Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ conducted by the Consulate General of India (during July’21 to Sep’21), Nine artists were short-listed from over 650 entries, and I was one of the artists who was selected to showcase her paintings on a platform like The Consulate General of India in Dubai.
In the year 2019 I was also honoured with OVERSEA’S AWARD for Madhubani art (an Indian folk-art form) by Mukti art Gallery, Maithil Manch, an NGO based in Mithila region of Bihar state, working for creating awareness about Mithila culture all over world.
I have also participated in recently concluded World Art Dubai-2022 Art exhibition and received appreciation from various renowned artists.
